About Me
 
It is my goal to provide experience, excellence, and guidance on a variety of workplace issues, including employee development, project management, leadership enhancement, strategic planning, organizational behavior, process improvement, customer relationship management,  performance enrichment, manager training, teambuilding, team development, employee motivation, customer service training, and new leader mentoring. I have shared my gifts with The Gallup Organization, LinkedIn.com, Fidelity Investments, PricewaterhouseCoopers, TeleTech, Department of Homeland Security, FDIC, Ryla Teleservices, and Ceridian to name a few.
 
"I have always enjoyed working with people and bringing out their unique gifts.  I have never believed that one size fits all and have always taken the time to get to know each person for who they are. This allows me to learn what you like and don't, how you work best, how to recognize and reward you, and how to constructively challenge you to strive for more. It's not about me, it's about you.  My goals have always centered on what I can do for you.
 
I tell others that my project is people; that is what I do; it's who I am. I firmly believe my success is dependent solely on your success.  Coaching is a process and has phases, like a project.  We may achieve success in one project together and we may part. You may choose to re-engage me in the future. You may never have the need.  We may achieve success in one project in your life, but it leads to another.  Ultimately the goal is to establish where you are now, where you want to be and determine how to bridge the gap between.  It is my goal to work with you and for you so that you achieve the professional and personal successes that compel you."
 
 
My Background  
 
I am the Founder and President of The Coaching Connection, LLC. I have worked for over fifteen years in the HR outsourcing, financial services and government industries, as well as in academia. My background work has been within large corporations and service center/call center environments within both program and operations management.  I have worked with diverse organizations to implement new business, improve processes via Six Sigma initiatives, launch programs via the project management life cycle, develop solutions to technological challenges, and mentor leaders to greater career heights.  
 
I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Indiana University, my MBA with High Honors in Management from Strayer University, and have recently finished my MS in Organizational Leadership. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Education while teaching with The National Graduate School in their Quality Management Masters program.
 
I am also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. I received my Certified Coaching Certificate from ASTD in association with Workplace Learning and Performance Professionals but am also a graduate of Coach U and Corporate Coach U, the leading provider of coach training programs. My strengths are relationships, building significance in one's life, focusing talents, and bringing positivity to all that I do.  My energy is infectious, get ready to catch some!

Why I am the Career and Leadership Coach for you 
  • I work with organizations and professionals who want to navigate, enhance and develop the trajectory of their career or group.  After many years as a project manager of processes and programs, my project is now people.   My entire goal is to work on your behalf, toward your goals, toward your agenda.  
  • Many people believe my boundless energy is contagious and helps to spark their own positive energy.
  • I have frequently been told that my insight to see right into the heart of the issue brings greater clarity, awareness and response to any situation.  Instead of taking years, we can work in weeks or months.
  • I have worked within many clients over the past fifteen years and understand the challenges faced within, such as rapid organizational change, effects of mergers and acquisitions, issues of leadership and personality styles, managers with little or no management skill.  By partnering together, we will develop strategies based on underlying causes, behaviors, or other issues in order to implement an appropriate plan of action.
