It's been almost three weeks since my last post; very unlike me. My goal has been to post no less than once per week.  However, life intervened and the trajectory of it all changed some priorities.  Plus, it does not help to get zapped by lightning and lose your cable/internet boxes/modems and thankfully, only my TV.  The laptop is alive and well.   But not having internet (or just about any technology) can really be crippling.  In addition to that, I packed my life up, drove 20 hours over two days with two cats, and started a new adventure.

Life is certainly highway and if you only think about the destination, you cannot enjoy the journey.  I had a really interesting drive and enjoyed the many states I traveled through, especially being able to drive through Huntington, WV.  I only lived there for one year in 1997, but it was nice to drive around and see the amazing growth and changes. I don't think there is a place I have lived that I have not gone back to at least once after having moved away.   If it weren't for it being so hot and having to leave the car running for the kitties whenever I had to make a stop, I would have had an even funner trip. Yes, I said funner .  I love to make up new words (remember Sniglets?!)
